George Washington will look to stop the slide it has been on since last month when it takes on UAB at home on Wednesday night. The Colonials have lost six in a row, but they are hoping the 3-7 Blazers can provide some relief for their struggles.
George Washington has been close in its last two games, but have still fallen. The Colonials fell, 67-66, to Bradley on December 15, and they also fell by five points to James Madison last Thursday. Coach Mike Lonergan's squad has not won a game since defeating Bowling Green on November 23.
UAB, meanwhile, has been one of the most disappointing teams in the nation. The Blazers, coming off an NCAA Tournament season, dropped six of their first seven games before winning two of their past three. Conference USA Preseason Player of the Year Cameron Moore is the man the Colonials must watch for the Blazers.
