George Washington Vs. Harvard: Colonials Step Out Of Conference To Face Crimson

The George Washington Colonials (6-10) take a break from Atlantic 10 conference play Saturday afternoon when they travel to Boston to take on the No. 25 Harvard Crimson (14-2). Tipoff at Lavietes Pavilion is scheduled for 2:00 PM ET.

The Colonials will be facing a tough test against the national-ranked Ivy League ballers, especially at Lavietes. The Crimson are 5-0 at home this season, and have won 22 straight games overall at home, the seventh longest home win streak in the country (Kentucky owns the longest streak, with 45 straight home wins).

George Washington is coming off a 69-61 victory at home over Rhode Island on Wednesday evening. The Colonials shot 50 percent in the game and controlled the glass against the Rams, outrebounding Rhode Island 41-34. Harvard last played Tuesday evening, defeating Monmouth 70-61 on the road.

George Washington and Harvard have met three times total, all in the last three seasons, with the Colonials holding a 2-1 series lead. Harvard is 19-37 all time against teams from the Atlantic 10 conference.
