George Washington Vs. La Salle: Colonials Visit Surging Explorers, Winners Of 12 Of Their Last 15

After a sluggish start, GWU has won four of its last seven and owns a three-game winning streak in A-10 play. It visits Philly to take on LaSalle on Wednesday night.

The George Washington Colonials (8-11, 3-2 Atlantic 10) can extend their winning streak to a season-high-tying three games Wednesday evening when they visit the LaSalle Explorers (14-6, 3-2 Atlantic 10). GWU has won two straight and four of its last seven after a disappointing 4-8 start to the 2011/12 season, while LaSalle is on an even hotter streak of its own, earning wins in 12 of its last 15 games.

In their last game, the Colonials rallied in the second half to knock off the Charlotte 49ers, 60-52, behind 19 points from Nemanja Mikic. Lasan Kromah contributed nine points, six rebounds, three assists, thre steals, and a blocked shot in the victory. Charlotte fell despite 17 points, 13 rebounds, and three bloks ffrom Chris Braswell.

LaSalle dominted the Rhode Island Rams, 80-66, in its last outing as five Explorers scored in double figures, led by Tyreek Duren's 21 points on 6-of-8 shooting. Saturday's game ended LaSalle's two-game losing streak, with its defeats coming by a combined 10 points. Ramon Galloway and Earl Pettis score 14.8 points per game each to lead the Explorers.

Tipoff is set for 7 PM Eastern at Tom Gola Arena.
