Kansas State vs. George Washington: Game time, TV schedule and more

George Washington hosts a 6-1 Kansas State team Saturday afternoon at the Smith Center, trying to get over .500.

The George Washington Colonials will try to avoid their first back-to-back losses this season when they host the Kansas State Wildcats on Saturday afternoon. The Colonials are 4-4 after an up-and-down first month of the season, and they're coming off a tough four-point loss to Bradley on Tuesday night.

Mike Lonergan has gotten contributions from a variety of players during the inconsistent first month, and on Tuesday it was freshman Patricio Garino who led the way with 24 points. Transfer Isaiah Armwood has made a big impact in his first season in Foggy Bottom, producing on the glass and on the offensive end. Lonergan will need Armwood, along with Lasan Kromah, to match the Wildcats in the paint.

K-State comes to the Smith Center with a 6-1 record in its first season under Bruce Weber. A 14-points loss to a top 5 Michigan team is the only blemish so far on a relatively cupcake-heavy schedule. There's certainly talent held over from the Frank Martin era. Rodney McGruder and Angel Rodriguez will present a tough test for the Colonials' backcourt. Big man Jordan Henriquez sat out the Wildcats last game with back spasms, but if he's good to go, he'll also be tough to handle on the interior.

Tip is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET, with GW hitting the national spotlight on CBS Sports Network.
