George Washington Vs. Richmond Score Update: Colonials Trail 28-27 At Halftime

The George Washington Colonials headed into the Robins Center to take on the Richmond Spiders in the hopes of sweeping the regular season series between the two schools. At halftime however, the Spiders hold a slight 28-27 lead over George Washington. Despite shooting very poorly in the first half, Richmond holds the slight lead and has out rebounded the Colonials and turned the ball over less.

George Washington held Richmond to under 40 percent shooting from the field and under 30 percent from the three-point line. The Colonials just haven't been able to put enough points on the board however, with Dwayne Smith leading the team in scoring with eight points. The Spiders have shot the ball 15 more times at the basket than George Washington, but due to the balls just not going in the Colonials are still in the game at the half.
