George Washington Vs. Richmond Final Score: Colonials Rally Back Late To Win, 69-67

The George Washington Colonials trailed the Richmond Spiders 28-27 at halftime as George Washington was looking for a way to sweep the regular season series with their A10 opponent. Thanks to a late rally in the second half by the Colonials, George Washington was able to overtake Richmond to win the game, 69-67. Derrick Williams kept Richmond in the game, thanks to his 21 points with 3 rebounds, hitting on 11 of 11 of his free throw shots.

For George Washington, David Pellom was a big part of the late rally picking up 16 points and 5 rebounds off the bench. Dwayne Smith finished the game picking up 14 points and 3 rebounds while Lasan Kromah picked up 11 points with 4 rebounds and 3 steals. With the late comeback win, George Washington gets one game closer to double-digit wins on the season.
