The George Washington Colonials are still trying to hit double-digit wins and cling to the last slot in the A10 conference tournament with just four games to go on the season, but they're off to a slow start on the road against the Charlotte 49ers on Wednesday night. At halftime, George Washington trails 38-33 despite the fact that they've out rebounded Charlotte 17-11 in the first half.
George Washington's leading scorer is Nemanja Mikic with eight points while Tony Taylor and Lasan Kromah have both notched seven points in the first half. For Charlotte, Chris Braswell has missed just one shot so far in the first half, putting down 15 points to lead the 49ers. DeMario Marfield has also put down 11 points for Charlotte as George Washington has struggled to contain the combination of Braswell and Marfield.
