George Washington Vs. La Salle: Colonials Try To Clinch Atlantic 10 Tournament Spot

The Colonials are still looking to clinch a spot in the Atlantic 10 tournament. Can they clinch it Wednesday night against La Salle?

The George Washington Colonials enter Wednesday night's game against the La Salle Explorers with an opportunity to clinch one of the final spots in the Atlantic 10 tournament. With both Fordham and Rhode Island playing each other as well on Wednesday night, the winner of that game will still be alive for that final spot should George Washington fall to LaSalle.

The Colonials will be leaning on Tony Taylor to push them to a victory at the Smith Center Wednesday night. Taylor averages 13.4 points per game as well as 4.4 assists per game. In addition to Taylor, another key for George Washington will be Lasan Kromah, averaging 11.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. The Colonials also will need some contributions from David Pellom averaging 9.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.

The Explorers will be led by Earl Pettis, averaging 15.2 points per game. Ramon Galloway averages 14.5 points per game and Tyreek Duren averages 13.4 points and 4.1 assists per game going into Wednesday's conference showdown.
