The George Washington Colonials have not shied away from scheduling big names out-of-conference this season, and Friday's game against the Georgia Bulldogs is no different.
Though the Bulldogs are just 5-7 on the season, the game is against a power conference team on the road -- the Colonials' third such contest this season.
George Washington comes into this one at 6-6, but the Colonials have won their last two after dropping three straight in mid-December.
Guard play will be key to this matchup, as Georgia is led by 2-guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who is averaging 17.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. The Colonials counter with senior Lasan Kromah, who scores 10.1 points per contest and has gone off for 18 points twice this season.
Georgia has won three games in a row, all at home, including an eight-point win over USC on Dec. 22. This is the Bulldogs' final non-SEC game of the season.
Game time: 7 p.m. ET
TV schedule: Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, ESPN3/WatchESPN
