Georgetown Vs. Temple: Owls Lead 39-32 After Fast-Paced First Half

The Georgetown Hoyas are no strangers to road deficits. They had to rally from a second-half deficit to beat Missouri in Kansas City earlier this year. Now, they have to do it again against Temple.

We've played one half of basketball, and Temple currently leads the Hoyas 39-32. Temple opened up a double-digit lead late in the first half, but the Hoyas ralled with buckets from Hollis Thompson and Jason Clark to get to within seven at the break.

It's been Ramone Moore that's given Georgetown the most problems. The junior guard, who averages 12.3 points per game on the season, has 17 points already on 8-9 shooting. No other Temple player is in double figures, but the Owls are shooting nearly 54 percent from the field. Jason Clark has 12 points to lead Georgetown, who are shooting just 42 percent from the field and have eight turnovers.

The Hoyas have rallied before though, and their late-half stretch is a good sign.
