Georgetown Vs. St. John's: Hoyas In Slugfest With Red Storm, Trail 32-26 At Halftime

The Georgetown Hoyas boast a physical team in both the frontcourt and backcourt, but the St. John's Red Storm aren't backing down.

Dwight Hardy's eight points has led to the Red Storm to a 32-26 halftime advantage.

Hollis Thompson has 10 of Georgetown's 26 points. The usual scoring options, Chris Wright, Austin Freeman and Julian Vaughn, have combined for just eight points. Henry Sims has six points off of the bench.

Only 15 of the 58 total points came from behind the three-point line. The majority have come in the paint and they haven't been easy to come by. The Hoyas and Red Storm combined for 20 rebounds, six offensive rebounds and 14 personal fouls.
