The Georgetown Hoyas get their first real test of the 2011-2012 season tonight when they take on the Kansas Jayhawks in the opening round of the Maui Invitational. The Hoyas kicked off their season with an 83-54 win over Savannah State, followed by an equally convincing win over UNC Greensboro, 86-45, a week ago. The Jayhawks meanwhile aim to bounce back from a ten point loss, 75-65, to Kentucky last Tuesday. The loss dropped Kansas to No. 14 in this week's rankings; Georgetown enters the tournament unranked.
