The 2011 Maui Invitational will enter its second day on Tuesday after a strong opening-round showing on Monday. Most of the favorites won on Day 1, save for Michigan upsetting Memphis in the opener. On Tuesday, the semifinals will take place, as well as the first games in the losers bracket. Here is your 2011 Maui Invitational schedule and bracket for Tuesday's action:
No. 8 Memphis vs. Tennessee: Two in-state rivals will kick off the action after suffering losses on Monday. Memphis was upset by No. 15 Michigan on Monday, 73-61, while Tennesse hung tough in a 77-67 loss to No. 6 Duke. ESPN, 2 p.m.
Georgetown vs. Chaminade: After competing hard in a loss to No. 14 Kansas, Georgetown gets what should be a gimmie game against the tournament's hosts. ESPN, 4:30 p.m.
No. 6 Duke vs. No. 15 Michigan: The headline matchup, which is also a rematch of a 2011 NCAA Tournament Round of 32 thriller. Duke looked OK in beating Tennessee, while Michigan looked great in topping Memphis. Can the Wolverines pull off the upset? ESPN, 7 p.m.
No. 14 Kansas vs. UCLA: Two traditional powers go at it in the nightcap. UCLA has struggled early this year, but had enough to down Chaminade on Monday. Kansas, meanwhile, edged Georgetown. ESPN, 9:30 p.m.
