Georgetown Vs. Alabama 2011 Highlights: Video Of Hollis Thompson's Game-Winning Three

Not very many people expected the Georgetown Hoyas to remain competitive against the No. 12 Alabama Crimson Tide in their house on Thursday night, let alone win. But the Hoyas jumped out to an early lead and were able to hold on, thanks in large part to the Hollis Thompson game-winning three pointer with less than two seconds left in the game. Here are complete highlights of the game.

Sure, it ultimately came down to the late three pointer, but Georgetown outplayed Alabama for most of the game. It was close, but in terms of an upset over a No. 12 ranked team in their building, it was a pretty thorough beat down by the Hoyas.

This was supposed to be a rebuilding year for the Hoyas, but they've shown in this game that they have the talent and ability to beat almost anyone. Doing it on the road only makes the win more impressive.
