Georgetown Vs. Syracuse: Threes Rain Down Inside Carrier Dome, Syracuse Leads 31-29 At Halftime

Basketball is a game played indoors, but the Carrier Dome's roof is not protecting from raining three-pointers.

Led by Kris Joseph's 10 points, the Syracuse Orange has a 31-29 halftime lead over the Georgetown Hoyas.

Jason Clark and Markel Starks each have six to lead the Hoyas. Austin Freeman, Julian Vaughn and Chris Wright have combined for 12 points.

Georgetown has 11 field goals, but six of them are three-pointers. Syracuse also has 11 field goals and three three-pointers. Both teams also have 13 rebounds.

The half featured back-and-forth action. Hollis Thompson hit a three-pointer with 10 seconds left to tie the game at 29, but Dion Walters hit a floater with two seconds left to send the Orange into the locker room with the lead.
