Big East Championship 2011: Connecticut Leads Louisville By Just 3 With 10-Minutes To Play

We could be in for an exciting finish at Madison Square Garden in New York. But we would expect nothing else from the Big East Conference. There are just 10 minutes remaining in the Big East Championship, and the Huskies lead 49-46.

Kemba Walker may have literally broke the ankles of Louisville Cardinals guard Peyton Siva. The enigmatic sophomore had to leave the game with just over 12 minutes to go after Walker drove past him en route to being fouled. Walker is leading all scorers with 12 points so far, while Siva was leading the Cardinals with nine points before departing.

The news didn't get any better for Louisville, as Preston Knowles exited just moments later. Neither player sat out long though, as both reentered the contest with 10:51 to go.

Connecticut has led by as many as 14 points, but this game has been close ever since Walker took a seat in the second quarter due to foul accumulation.
