College Basketball Rankings: Georgetown Slides To No. 14 In AP Top 25 Poll

The Georgetown Hoyas fell five spots to No. 14 in the latest AP Top 25 poll.

A 72-60 loss to lowly Pittsburgh on the road on Saturday caused Georgetown to slide five spots in the latest AP Top 25 college basketball rankings. The Hoyas came in at No. 14 this week after surging as high as No. 9 last week. Losing in the one game played all week will do that to you.

The Hoyas, now 16-4 and 6-3 in the Big East, remain the second-highest Big East team in the polls, trailing only No. 2 Syracuse. The only other Top 25 Big East team is Marquette, which comes in at No. 15. Louisville, West Virginia, Notre Dame and Connecticut also received votes.
