Mount St. Mary's vs. Georgetown: Game time, TV schedule and more

Georgetown returns home to face Mount St. Mary's on Saturday.

Mike Ehrmann

The Georgetown Hoyas host the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers on Saturday as they play their first game since nearly pulling off an upset of the No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers. The Hoyas lost to the Hoosiers in overtime of the Legends Classic championship game in Brooklyn, NY, but showed they are capable of playing with anyone. Georgetown beat No. 11 UCLA for the right face Indiana.

The Hoyas are 3-1 on the year after their initial game of the season against Florida was declared "no contest" due to adverse court conditions caused by the game's location on an aircraft carrier. Junior Greg Whittington has led the Hoyas, and has played 91 percent of the minutes thus far. Whittingham has been controlling the defensive glass, grabbing 22 percent of available rebounds while he is on the floor. He has also been efficient inside the arc, knocking down 57 percent of his two-pointers.

The Mountaineers' most voluminous shooter has been junior Rashad Whack. He has been lethal from the three-point line, knocking down 9 of 18 attempts. He also rebounds the ball well for his 6'2 stature, pulling in 19 percent of the defensive rebounding opportunities.

Game time, TV schedule: Noon ET, ESPN3
