The No. 10-ranked Georgetown Hoyas will be looking to continue their winning ways Saturday, as they visit the Providence Friars for a Big East Conference men's basketball contest (7 p.m. on MASN) at the Dunkin Donuts Center. The Hoyas (19-5, 9-4 Big East) are looking to keep pace in the Big East standings where they are currently in fourth place and have a chance to earn a double-bye in the conference tournament.

Georgetown has had six days off since its last game, a victory over the visiting St. John's Red Storm, 71-61. The Hoyas earned their third win in four games with the help of five players tallying in double figures, led by freshman Greg Whittington, who scored a season-high 12 points.

Senior guard Jason Clark enters the game pacing Georgetown in scoring, averaging 14.0 points per game, while freshman forward Otto Porter is leading the squad in rebounding (7.0 per game) and netting 8.8 ppg.

Meanwhile, the Friars (13-14, 2-12) have dropped four straight including the most recent coming at the hands of the Cincinnati Bearcats, 81-66, Wednesday.

Already this season, Dec. 31, Georgetown beat Providence, 49-40, in a game that included the Friars shooting just 25.5-percent from the field.

Junior guard Vincent Council is the Friars leading scorer (16.6 ppg), passer (7.3 assists per game) and defender (1.3 steals per game).
