Georgetown Vs. Seton Hall: Hoyas Go For Third Win In A Row Against Pirates

The Hoyas play a Seton Hall team desperate to add a statement win to their NCAA tournament profile. What will happen in Newark Tuesday night?

The Georgetown Hoyas conclude their two-game road trip with a Big East showdown against the Seton Hall Pirates Tuesday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. The Hoyas are still tied with South Florida for the fourth and final double bye seed for the upcoming Big East tournament. The Pirates on the other hand are looking for a good win to help their chances at earning their first NCAA tournament bid since 2006.

The Hoyas in the last five games have held opponents to 32.5 percent shooting from the field, culminating with holding last-place Providence to 25.9 percent in Saturday's 63-53 victory. Georgetown is already one of the best shooting defenses in the country holding opponents to 38.4 percent from the field.

Guard Jason Clark leads the Hoyas in scoring with 14.8 points per game. Forward Hollis Thompson averages 13.4 and leads the Hoyas in three point shooting, averaging 47.6 percent beyond the arc.

The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip off and will be broadcast live on MASN, with radio coverage provided on 570 AM.
