The No. 5 seed Georgetown Hoyas trail No. 4 seed Georgia Tech by six points at the half in Chapel HIll. The Yellow Jackets shot 55 percent from the floor to jump out to a 37-31 lead. Sydney Wallace came off the bench for the Ramblin' Wreck and quickly poured in 14 points to to help build the halftime lead. The game was back-and-forth until a 9-0 run at the five minute mark by Tech.
Rubylee Wright led the Hoyas with eight points, hitting two of three attempts from behind the arc to help Georgetown keep pace in the first ten minutes of the game. Unfortunately for the Hoyas, she's the only one who's hit a three-pointer so far. Sugar Rodgers, who averages more than 18 points per game, has just two points on one of seven from the floor. The winner of this game will move on to the Sweet 16 in Des Moines and most likely face the overall No. 1 seed, undefeated Baylor.
