McDonald's All-American Game 2012 Score Update: West Leads The East 58-46 At Halftime

The 2012 McDonald's All-American Game tipped off on Wednesday evening in Chicago, featuring some of the countries best basketball recruits, including Georgetown Hoyas recruit power forward Devonta Pollard. After the first half of play, the West team leads the East team with a 58-46 lead.

The pace of the game as been a fast and a bit sloppy, which is expected a bit from the high school players trying to make a name for themselves on the big stage. The East team tied the game and took a slight lead in the first half, but a 9-0 run by the West with just a few minutes left in the half gave them back the lead going into halftime. Shabazz Muhammed leads all scorers with 15 points and 5 rebounds in the first half of the game.
