Georgetown Basketball Recruiting: Devonta Pollard Puts Off College Decision, According To Report

Devonta Pollard was supposed to announce his college decision this weekend. Unfortunately, it appears that he has delayed his decision even further down the line according to a post by Adam Zagoria on Zagsblog.com.

The 6-8 Pollard out of Mississippi was supposed to announce by today, but that plan appears to be out the window.

Pollard is considering the Georgetown Hoyas, but is also considering the Missouri Tigers, Texas Longhorns and Alabama Crimson Tide. The deadline for the late signing period for college basketball players is May 16. After this sudden delay, there appears to be no timetable for Pollard's announcement.

"The mother is going to send the thing out," Porterville (Miss.) Kemper County coach Kelvin Young told SNY.tv Friday by phone. "She's going to send everything out."

Asked when Pollard might announce, Young said, "I have no idea. It's all going through the mother."

Pollard measures in at 6'8" and 190 pounds. The Hoyas could use him as a small forward that could be a decent shooter in the Big East.
