Georgetown Basketball Recruiting: Devonta Pollard To Announce Decision Tonight

With one scholarship left to offer, the Georgetown Hoyas could wrap up the 2012 recruiting class as small forward Devonta Pollard is expected to make his decision at 6 p.m. tonight, according to ESPN recruiting expert Dave Telep.

Pollard is a five-star, 6'7'' small forward from Mississippi. He is expected to choose between Georgetown, Texas, Missouri and Alabama. Casual Hoya has the lowdown on Pollard's recruiting situation:

Pollard enjoyed his visit to Georgetown last month and after Missouri filled its remaining scholarships with transfers Alex Oriakhi and Jordan Clarkson, it was widely expected that Pollard was down to Georgetown or Alabama. However, after former assistant coach Robert Kirby bolted Georgetown for LSU, not many close to the program have had high hopes for his commitment and he seems a likely Alabama lean. Then again, what the hell do we know.

Bradley Hayes, a 6'11'' center from Florida, was Georgetown's most recent commitment.
