Elon Vs. Maryland: Great Defensive Performance Gives Terrapins Second Half Victory

Remember that 11-pont deficit that Maryland faced early in the game? It might as well have happened in a different season. The Terrapins have forgot about it, and so should you.

A dominating defensive performance from the Terrapins resulted in the home team outscoring its opponents 45-23 in the second half, and finishing the game with a 76-57 final score.

Sean Mosley set the tone early in the second half. He had a huge dunk in the opening minutes to set the tone, and then finished with a highlight-worthy dunk to bring the Comcast Center to its feet just minutes later. Mosley had 10 points in the win.

The biggest star for Maryland though was sophomore Jordan Williams. The big man earned 24-points tonight to lead all scorers, and added 13-rebounds as well.

The Terrapins will return to action Wednesday night on the road against Penn State.
