Damien Berry, Miami's Leading Rusher, Out Saturday Against Terps

The Maryland Terps could catch a break if Miami quarterback Jacory Harris is not 100 percent for Saturday's ACC showdown. But the Terps definitely caught some good fortune when Hurricanes coach Randy Shannon ruled out running back Damien Berry for Saturday.

Berry is suffering from an undisclosed injury, but "has been banged up for about two and a half weeks," according to Shannon. Berry, a senior, leads the Hurricanes with 142 carries for 690 yards and four touchdowns. He had a season-low 42 yards on 11 carries against the Virginia Cavaliers last week.
