At 6-3, the Maryland Terrapins have exceeded many people's expectations this year, even despite last Saturday's loss to Miami. Somehow, they remain very much in the race to make the ACC Championship Game. In recognition of this amazing surprise (okay, I'm exaggerating), the Terps will actually be on prime time network television later this season.
↵That's right: the November 20 home game against Florida State will air at 8 p.m. to a regional audience on ABC, according to Patrick Stevens of D1Scourse. It's the first time the Terps have been on in prime time since 2007, and it's the first time they've been on ABC at all since 2008. If all goes to plan, the Atlantic Division could be up for grabs for that game, which is probably why ABC decided to air it.
↵I'm not sure whether this says more about Maryland's play or the sad state of the ACC, but either way, I guess it's nice to see your team get a little bit of recognition.
