Maryland Vs. Clemson: Terps Leading Tigers 40-36 After Back And Forth First Half

The Maryland Terrapins are leading the Clemson Tigers 40-36 after a back and forth first half.

The game started much better for the Terps than it did in their previous game against Virginia Tech, as Jordan Williams has become way more involved early. Williams finished the half with 8 points and 7 rebounds, creeping ever closer to breaking Len Elmore's record for consecutive double-double's.

In addition to Williams, the Terps are getting solid contributions from up and down the roster. Terrell Stoglin and Adrian Bowie each have 8 points, and Sean Mosley scored 7 points coming off the bench. This half has shown that perhaps Maryland can indeed get some good contributions from players other than Williams.

Although Maryland is leading at the half, Clemson battled back from a 13 point deficit to cut the Terp lead to just 4. Maryland will need to turn it on again if they want to stop a potential second half rally by the Tigers.
