Tajh Boyd Injury Update: Clemson Offensive Coordinator Would Be 'Shocked' If Boyd Doesn't Play

As if you needed any more evidence that star quarterback Tajh Boyd would play for No. 8 Clemson against Maryland next Saturday night, Chad Morris, the Tigers' offensive coordinator, said he would be "shocked" if Boyd didn't play in the game. Via Paul Strelow of Clemson's 24/7 site:

Chad Morris on Tajh Boyd: "He told me he's going to play, and I believe him." Said he'd be "shocked" if Boyd doesn't play.

Boyd suffered a hip injury and had to leave the game in Clemson's 36-14 win over Boston College on Saturday. At the time, it looked like a serious injury, but as it turned out, he seems to be OK. Perhaps he was held out against Boston College because the game was out of reach.
