Demetrius Hartsfield Injury Update: Terps' Leading Tackler Won't Play Vs. Clemson

The Maryland football team already faced a tall order against No. 8 Clemson on Saturday night at Byrd Stadium. Now, that will become even taller. Leading tackler Demetrius Hartsfield has been listed as out on the team's official injury report, via the Washington Post.

Hartfield has missed parts of several games this season for the Terps, but the junior linebacker has been a rock for Maryland when he has been in the lineup. He already has 50 tackles and 18 solo tackles for Maryland this season. He left the Terps' loss to Georgia Tech in the middle of the game. The Terps do not release the specific injuries of players on the report, so it's unclear exactly what is ailing Hartsfield.

Other Terps that are listed as out for the game include defensive lineman Justin Anderson, offensive lineman Justin Gilbert, linebacker Garrett Lederman, defensive lineman Andre Monroe and linebacker Shaquan Virgil.
