Clemson Vs. Maryland Score Update: Terrapins Extend Lead To 21-10 Early In Second Quarter

Davin Meggett's second touchdown of the game has extended the Maryland Terrapins lead over the Clemson Tigers to eight points just over one minute into the second quarter.

Meggett now has a touchdown on the ground and one through the air in the contest, after catching a C.J. Brown seven yard pass to give the Terrapins a 21-10 lead over the eighth ranked team in the country.

Brown is six of 10 on the night for 69 yards, with the touchdown pass to Meggett. Megget has carried the ball six times for just 13 yards, but did score from nine yards out in the first quarter.

Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd, injured in last week's game, has looked rusty and tentative so far, and gifted Maryland a touchdown on his first quarter interception that was returned by Terrapin Cameron Chism for a touchdown.
