Clemson Vs. Maryland Score Update: Terrapins Clinging To 38-35 Lead After Eventful Third Quarter

The Maryland Terrapins drove down the field and scored on their first drive of the second half to give them a 35-17 lead, but from there, it has been all Clemson. The Tigers have gotten two touchdown passes to Sammy Watkins and a field goal to close the gap to just three as this game heads into the fourth quarter. 38-35 Terps.

As for C.J. Brown watch, it seems like the Clemson defense might just be figuring out the quarterback. He seems a little afraid to throw the ball after an interception midway through that quarter, and has completed just half his passes in this game. We knew the passing would be an issue for him here, but he needs to do better if the Terps are going to hold on here. On the flip side however, he has 154 yards rushing, so there's that. Buckle up everyone, it's going to be a bumpy ride the rest of the way.

We'll be following the lead-up to this game in this StoryStream. For more on the Terps, head on over to Testudo Times, and for a view from behind enemy lines, try Shakin' the Southland.
