Maryland's next two opponents are currently carrying the ACC flag in the latest edition of the Associated Press College Football Rankings.  Clemson continues its rapid rise up the poll and is now in the top ten, ranked 8th in the country. Maryland will host Clemson next week in College Park.

But not before a trip to Atlanta to face Georgia Tech, the 13th ranked team in the country and ACC Coastal division leader.  The Yellow Jackets moved up to 13th after another impressive offensive performance against NC State, winning 45-35 yesterday afternoon.  The Terps will face the Jackets in Atlanta at Noon on Saturday.

The ACC is also represented by Virginia Tech and Florida State in the bottom of the top 25.  The Hokies are ranked 21st after getting blown out at home 23-3, by the aforementioned streaking Clemson Tigers.  Florida State is ranked 23rd. The Terps travel to Tallahassee in three weeks for what will be their 3rd straight game against ranked ACC opponents.
