We're through one quarter of play in Tallahassee, and the Maryland Terrapins simply look outclassed against Florida State. E.J. Manuel has a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown already, and the Seminoles lead 14-0 after one quarter.
The Terps finally got a stop on Florida State's third drive of the game, sacking Manuel to force a punt. The first two drives, though, were much less successful. Florida State got a seven-yard rushing touchdown from Manuel on the first drive after rolling down the field easily. After forcing a Terps punt from midfield, Florida State did it again. Aided by horrendous tackling by Maryland, the Seminoles eventually scored when Manuel found Kenny Shaw on the outside for a 26-yard touchdown.
Outside of the first drive, Maryland has struggled to move the ball against Florida State's defense.
