The Week 9 USA Today Coaches Poll has been released, and just two Atlantic Coast Conference teams are ranked in the Top 25.

The offensive juggernaut that is the Clemson Tigers, fresh off a 59-38 thrashing of the North Carolina Tar Heels, jumped from eighth place last week to sixth place in this week's rankings. Virginia Tech, 30-14 winners over Boston College on Saturday, fell from the No. 14 position to No. 15. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets fell out of the rankings completely after their second striaght loss after starting the season 6-0.

Overall, LSU and Alabama are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 this week, as the college football world awaits what may be the de-facto national championship when the two teams square off in Tuscaloosa in early November. Several Top 10 teams from last weeks rankings fell, most notably Wisconsin, victims of a last second Hail Mary pass by the Michigan State Spartans in the wee hours Saturday evening.
