Boston College Vs. Maryland: C.J. Brown Starts At Quarterback For Terps

The answer to the week-long question over who would start at quarterback for the Maryland football team against Boston College has finally arrived. C.J. Brown, and not Danny O'Brien, is the man under center for the Terps as their game against the Eagles gets underway.

Brown has been the starter since leading a comeback effort in a loss to Georgia Tech, and O'Brien only came in when Brown was knocked out against Florida State with an injury. After the game, Brown received a clean bill of health, and therefore is starting again even though O'Brien was slightly more effective in the 41-16 blowout loss.

Coach Randy Edsall announced last weekend that he would make a game-time decision on which quarterback would play, and he stuck to his guns during the week. It remains to be seen if O'Brien will end up playing some snaps anyway due to injury, ineffectiveness or just giving the defense a different look.
