College Football Odds, Virginia Vs. Maryland: Cavaliers Favored on Road Against Struggling Terrapins

The Maryland Terrapins are officially in free fall mode after losing 28-17 at home to a Boston College Eagles squad that had yet to win a conference game before last weekend. The Terrapins have lost four in a row and six of their past seven games since winning their season opener against the Miami Hurricanes. Randy Edsall's club looks to rebound this Saturday when they host the Virginia Cavaliers (5-3, 2-2).

Here's the opening line for Saturday afternoon's matchup in College Park courtesy of Odds Shark.

Virginia Cavaliers (-2.5) at Maryland Terrapins (-115)

5Dimes has the line at -2 as of Monday afternoon, which perhaps means there is already some action coming in on the side of UVA. That wouldn't be too surprising if so -- the Cavaliers are playing fairly well, having beaten Georgia Tech and Miami in two of the past three weekends; the Terps, meanwhile, look lost on both sides of the ball and have little more than pride to play for at this point.

Stay tuned throughout the week for more pregame coverage, and stop by Testudo Times for even more Terrapins news and discussion.
