Maryland Vs. Georgia Tech Score Update: Davin Meggett Scores, Terps Cut Lead To

In an incredible turn of fortune, the Maryland Terrapins now only trail Georgia Tech by five points. Halfway through the fourth quarter, the the Yellow Jackets lead 21-16. The comeback has come largely from the feet of backup quarterback C.J. Brown.

On fourth and goal from the one-yard line, runningback Davin Meggett burst in for aTerp touchdown. The second half has been all Terps, despite benching quarterback Danny O'Brien and a devastating leg injury to linemen Andrew Gonnella. Though the pass game is still contributing little for the Terps, Brown has done much on the ground. He has piled up more than 125 run yards and is averaging 14 yards a carry.

The hero for this Terps team remains the defense, which has kept the team in the game despite a less than inspiring effort from the offense for much of the game.
