2011 Bowl Projections: Wake Forest Projected To Take On Navy At RFK In Military Bowl

With one month remaining in the college football season, the bowl projections are in high gear. The Military Bowl enters its fourth year at RFK, and local service academy Navy is currently projected to play against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. The projection is a rematch of the inaugural game in 2008, when Wake beat the Midshipmen 29-19. Wake is currently 5-5 and 4-3 in the ACC, after blowing a fourth quarter lead on Saturday against conference-leading Clemson in Death Valley.

After a win over the SMU Mustangs, Navy teeters on the line of bowl eligibility at 4-6. They have a game against San Jose State next week and then get two weeks off before the annual rivalry with Army on December 10th. Navy will have to win both games to clinch a bowl berth.

The Military Bowl is set to be played at RFK on December 28th at 4:30. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
