Of all the five zillion Maryland football uniform combinations, the white jersey/red pants combination at least seemed like the most normal of the bunch. Now that we've had a chance to see them in action against Wake Forest, we can confirm that, yes, they are probably the most normal of the bunch.
When you combine that fairly normal uniform with the shell helmet, which has looked much better in action that I ever expected, you get a decent-looking, but not completely ridiculous combination. Sounds like a winner to me. Make the jump to see the uniforms.
