Maryland Vs. Wake Forest Score Update: Wake Forest Leads 17-7 After Third Quarter Touchdown

The Maryland Terrapins put another strong drive together to start the third quarter, but as has been the case all afternoon, they failed to capitalize. Wake Forest got the ball back and marched straight down the field and scored a relatively easy rushing touchdown from two yards out. They now lead 17-7.

The Terps were in scoring position, and a touchdown run by Davin Meggett was called back after an offensive penalty. After that Nick Ferrara missed his second field goal of the afternoon. Wake Forest got the ball back with poor field position, but that didn't seem to matter very much as they marched right down the field. Brandon Pendergrass took in from two yards out and Wake Forest now has a ten point lead.
