Maryland Vs. Wake Forest Score Update: Demon Deacons Starting To Pull Away, Now Lead 31-10

Remember when Maryland was tied with Wake Forest at the half and it looked like they might have a chance to win this game in the second half? Well, the game has followed somewhat of a different script. After their second touchdown pass of the fourth quarter, Wake Forest now leads by three touchdowns, and whatever hopes Maryland had of coming back appear to be dashed.

The real crushing blow came a few minutes earlier. Maryland blocked a particularly ugly punt attempt deep in Wake territory but was unable to score any points before turning the ball back over. On fourth and eight Maryland elected to call an out pass to the wide side which, unsurprisingly, fell incomplete. Wake Forest scored a few moments later.
