Maryland Vs. NC State Score Update: Terps Hold 14-7 Lead Early

The Maryland Terrapins jumped out to an early 14-0 lead over the NC State Wolfpack. James Glennon fumbled the football and Dexter McDougle picked the live football up and ran it back 66-yards for the touchdown to give the Terps a 7-0 lead early on. On NC State's next drive, the Wolfpack once again fumbled the football away to the Terps.

The Terps took advantage of the drive and the field position, going right down the field and scoring another touchdown thanks to a 1-yard run by quarterback C.J. Brown, giving the Terps a 14-0 lead. NC State got their offense going on the next drive however, engineering a long 16-play drive that also included a fourth down conversion. Quarterback Mike Glennon connected with Tony Creecy for the 4-yard touchdown to cut into the Terps lead 14-7 as the first quarter ended.
