Virginia Vs. Maryland Score Update: C.J. Brown Leads Scoring Drive, Terps Lead, 10-7

Maryland put C.J. Brown in at quarterback to provide a spark, and provide a spark he did. Brown replaced Danny O'Brien and led the Terps on a quick scoring drive, finishing it off with a 13-yard touchdown pass to tight end Devonte Campbell to give the Terps a 10-7 lead over Virginia with 10:48 to go in the second quarter.

The drive began with a 42-yard run from running back Davin Meggett, then continued with a 25-yard run by Brown on a quarterback draw. On the next play, Brown found Campbell for the touchdown. The Terps' drive was for 83 yards on four plays and took just a minute to complete.

It remains to be seen if O'Brien will return to the game or if Brown was just inserted for a spark.
