Virginia Vs. Maryland Halftime Score: Cavaliers Lead 14-13, But Terps Hanging In

After some recent ugly results, the Maryland Terrapins appear to be playing a decent game of football. Though they trail 14-13 at halftime, the Maryland offense has moved the ball with some consistency against the Virginia Cavaliers.

Maryland Coach Randy Edsall is bucking football tradition and playing both Danny O'Brien and CJ Brown at quarterback. Each player has been effective, O'Brien with his arm and Brown with his feet. O'Brien threw for more than 130 yards in the half, though Brown connected with Devonte Campbell for the only Terps touchdown.

The Virginia offense has been impressive as well. Quarterback Michael Rocco looks poised in the pocket, connecting to receivers and check down to running backs and tight ends. Rocco has almost 180 yards passing and a touchdown, and running back Perry Jones is just shy of the century mark, with 99 yards rushing and a touchdown.

The Maryland defense will have to maker stops and create more turnovers. A first-half UVA fumble led to Maryland points. Maryland has twice left points on the board, settling for field goals after stalled drives in the red zone. Power running back D.J. Adams has not recorded a carry so far
