Military Bowl 2011 Score Update: Toledo And Air Force Tied At 28 At Halftime

After a frantic first quarter that saw a combined 38 points score, Toledo leading Air Force 21-14, the second quarter calmed down quite a bit. It took over five minutes for the first score in the game to occur, with Air Force tying the game at 21-21 thanks to an Asher Clark touchdown run. On the drive, Air Force went down the field in 12 plays taking over five minutes off the clock.

It didn't take too long for Toledo to answer however, as quarterback Terrance Owens connected with Benard Reedy on a bullet down the middle of the field splitting the safeties for a 48-yard touchdown to take a 28-21 lead. After forcing a turnover however, Air Force was able to go right down the field and tie up the game. Quarterback Tim Jefferson Jr. connected with Jonathan Warzeka for a 37-yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 28-28.
