Mount St. Mary's Vs. Maryland Final Score: Terps Escape With A 77-74 Win

The Maryland Terrapins escaped with a victory over the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers, 77-74. It was a rough going early for the Terps, who took a 45-32 lead into halftime and looked like they would cruise on to an easy victory over the 1-6 Mountaineers. Mount St. Mary's battled back in the second half hour, putting a scare into the Terps.

The Mountaineers actually took a lead late in the second half, going up 68-67 before a television timeout with just under four minutes left on the clock. Thanks to some late shots by Terrell Stoglin, who ended the night with 23 points, the Terps were able to re-take the lead and escape the upset scare with a victory.

Part of the reason Mount St. Mary's was able to keep the game so close was thanks to Josh Castellanos and Julian Norfleet going a combined 7 of 14 from three-point range.
