Tonight is the big Maryland-Duke matchup, and as we noted the other day, Maryland is taking measures to prevent the full-scale riots that broke out last year from ever happening again. One key step in that process is a pep rally that is currently taking place.
↵The emcee of that pep rally? It's none other than Dave Neal, the former Maryland player that started as a benchwarmer before working his way up to being the starting center in his senior year in 2008. Who better to lead the way that Dave?
↵As you can see from the picture, Neal is excited about his role. He sent out that picture on his Twitter account, and responded well to a joke by Harrison Goodman (@GoodmanHarrison) that he is also emceeing a post-game beer pong event. Maybe all of these measures will work after all.
