After last year's riot in College Park following the Maryland Terrapins' victory over the Duke Blue Devils, precautions were taken. Maryland lost to Duke last night by an 80-62 score. Nothing happened. And Duke's school newspaper, The Chronicle, has found out why.
↵According to the flyer above, three different reverends participated in a rally to ensure the safety of College Park after the game. Whether or not it worked is up for debate, but there were no arrests made, so perhaps a higher power had something to do with it? Then the question remains of why that higher power didn't give the Terps a victory last night. Details.
