ACC Tournament 2011: Virginia Tech Hokies Leading Geogia Tech 36-19 At The Half

Virginia Tech has had it's share of bad losses this seaosn, and they knew coming into this game that if they had another to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, they'd be in trouble. After a half mostly dominated by the Hokies, both teams head into the locker room with Virginia Tech up 36-19.

The Hokies started the first half well, as they came out of the gate with a 22-7 early lead over the Yellow Jackets. Virginia Tech's being paced so far by Malcolm Delaney's 11 points, along with steady play from Erick Green and Jeff Allen

After their initial run, the Hokies got a little stagnant against Georgia Tech, and allowed them to go on a mini run that cut the lead back to 12. But the half ended with a 5-0 Hokie run to make the score 36-19 going into halftime.

For the Hokies, they must keep the pressure on as they need to win this game to clinch a probably NCAA berth.
